GENESIS
Kendriya Vidyalaya Ongole was started in the year 2007 in a temporary accommodation, under Civil Sector in the coastal city of Ongole, the District Head Quarter of Prakasham District falling in KVS Hyderabad Region. District Collector is the Chairperson of the VMC.
VISION
To cater to the educational needs of the children of transferable To not only make the Vidyalaya progress in all the aspects of Students' Learning Experiences, but also to be exemplary and a beacon of model for the other schools..
MISSION
In accordance with the core fundamental principles envisaged in the document for PM SHRI schools, we have started working in the direction aiming at the accomplishment of the Spirit of NEP under the stewardship of the Chairman VMC, KV Ongole.

The extraordinary journey of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, which began in 1963 with just 20 regimental schools, has transformed into a vast network of 1,289 Kendriya Vidyalayas, illuminating the nation with the light of exceptional education.
